Public Defender Lender makes it easy to get the money the court owes you for your indigent defense cases.  We send your payment via your preferred or indicated method.  This isn't a loan, so you make no payments, pay no interest, and best of all, you don't have to wait for your money.  Just follow the easy steps outlined here. 


4 Easy steps for setting up your account at Public Defender Lender!

  1. Create an account at Public Defender Lender by registering. (Click here to do that now!)
  2. Review and agree to our Assignment of Accounts Agreement after you have registered.
  3. Complete our online W-9 form after registration and fax to (888) 892-8570 or upload it with our convenient "W-9 Uploader" in the account menu.
  4. Fax a copy of your valid drivers license to (888) 892-8570.

Once your registration is approved, you will receive an email from Public Defender Lender and can begin submitting cases immediately!

Once your registration is complete, here's how to get your money.

  1. Submit the cases you want payment on.
  2. Provide us a copy of your Attorney's Fee Declaration and the associated case time sheet ( other documents may be requested as well in special situations ) by uploading the documents using our convenient "File Uploader" or by faxing it to (888) 892-8570.
  3. You will receive an email informing you of the acceptance or rejection of your case assignment. If a case is accepted, the last step is for you to submit the same Attorney's Fee Declaration  and other required documentation to the appropriate court within 3 (three) business days. Do this for each accepted case.


Anytime you want your money, just log on and submit your cases. It's that easy!
